"It is difficult to put into words how grateful I am to have the chance to work with Kim. It has been an incredibly enlightening experience. Kim has given me the emotional tools I need, and has showed me how to use them to change my life. Kim's guidance and insight has helped me to let go of the past and look forward to the future. All of my relationships are stronger and healthier than they have ever been. I was trapped in a cycle of destructive and unhealthy relationship patterns with my mother, but since working with Kim I have come to understand my relationship with my mother and I have new tools to relate to her in a way that is emotionally healthy. Kim has helped me see me in a more positive light and helped me regain my confidence. It is so liberating to be able to believe in myself again. Thank you for all your support and blessings. You are truly an angel on earth!"

What is the role of the Coach within the coach/client partnership?

The role of the coach is to provide an objective assessment of the client's circumstances and challenges through the practice of astute listening skills. The coach is a sounding board in support of what is possible. The coach encourages a fresh perspective by fostering shifts in thinking. Coaching is not about giving advice, but rather helping you find your strengths and the answers for yourself.

Coaching begins with an interview with the client, and can be done in person or by telephone.  The coach assesses the goals, challenges, priorities and desired outcomes of the client.  Subsequent coaching sessions are then scheduled to create an action plan; which includes periodic assessments and objective information for evaluating progress.

A life coach maintains professional boundaries and confidentiality.
